My name is Lisette Turner!

 

I've been listing and selling homes in the Shenandoah Valley, Northern Virginia & The Eastern Panhandle for 40 years & I'm a Listing Specialist with a proven marketing plan! Originally from Brooklyn NY, I moved to Virginia at 17 to attend Shenandoah University in Winchester. I immediately fell in love with the area and all that it has to offer so I've been here ever since! I graduated from Shenandoah & earned my VA Real Estate License in the early 80's, just before my eldest son was born. In the years since my business & my family have really grown!

I am a Century 21 Redwood Realty agent, licensed in both VA & WV! I've been affiliated with the Century 21 for my entire career & formerly owned Century 21 New Valley Realty which I bought about 20 years ago. My office is located at 310 N. Buckmarsh Street in Berryville, VA. 

I have 6 children including a set of triplets, which was a HUGE surprise & very exciting for our family! I also have 4 beautiful grandchildren & 1 great grandchild! Between my business and my family there is never a dull moment!

I pride myself on the relationships that I've formed & developed in my career, and I care deeply for my customers and clients. Many of them bought their very first home from me decades ago and we've been working together ever since! Those sorts of friendships are what keep my business thriving & they mean the world to me! I work very hard for my clients & enjoy not only getting to know them during their transaction, but also keeping up with them even after the deal has closed. I have quite an extensive database after 40 years & much of that is because of my fantastic clients, their trust, loyalty, & referrals! It's an amazing feeling when someone is so happy with my services that they feel confident referring their loved ones to me... it's why I'm a REALTOR and it's why I love what I do!

  • Offering over 40 years of experience selling residential properties, specializing in farms & country estates in addition to land/building lots, commercial & multi-family properties. I successfully utilize a proven marketing plan; provide custom virtual tours & unique individual property web sites for each of my listings, giving them lots of additional exposure online; feature my listings on nearly 100 web sites, making them easy for buyers to find; create custom sales brochures for each listing to profitably market the home; promote the sale of properties through advertisements in The Washington Post, Loudoun Times Mirror, Marketplace Magazine, The Winchester Star, Northern Virginia Daily & other publications; hosting open houses for the public & for Realtors; participation in multiple listing services which allows for all Realtors to share your listing with their buyer; completing "Just Listed" mail outs & email campaigns to the neighborhood as well as my personal database & sending email campaigns to over $30,000 Realtors in the region when homes are listed, for price adjustments, open houses and special incentives. I always negotiate the best possible contract for clients & provide accurate "net sheets" to make the financial decisions easier for the seller. I work with home inspectors, title companies, lenders and appraisers to determine any and all actions that need to be taken prior to closing & to keep things moving forward in a timely manner with as little turbulence as possible. I ensure that all terms of the contract are met prior to closing & attend settlement to offer additional support.
  • I successfully guide homebuyers through the purchase of properties. Generate lists of properties that are compatible with buyers' needs and financial resources. Coordinate appointments to show homes to prospective buyers at their convenience. Offer an established positive flow of communication with other agents, buyers and sellers, mortgage officers, title personnel and attorneys involved in the home buying and selling process so that I can walk clients through the buying process, every step of the way. Assist in the "home search" by having systems in place online & through my web presence for buyers to have the most up to date information about new listings, price adjustments, community info, statistics & more. Offer a free property finder, using my website & mobile app, which allows the customer to search at their leisure and be alerted immediately about new listings or price reductions while also personally taking the time on a daily basis to search the MRIS for properties that best suit their needs & hand pick properties matching the customers’ criteria. Offer listing via mail service to those who aren't online.  Present purchase offers to sellers for consideration and negotiate contracts on behalf of clients. Coordinate property inspections, appraisals, repairs, closings & overseeing signing of documents and disbursement of funds, so buyers can focus on moving & enjoy the process rather than being stressed or worried during this important & exciting time.
